What sets us apart?
There are numerous software services companies out there. A lot of them claim to provide best quality services at the lowest rates possible. So for any potential buyer, the key question could be “why should I work with you?”. Well, as far as we are concerned, we don’t claim to be a small sweat shop working at the lowest rates possible, or that we provide “best” possible solutions or that we provide 24/7 customer support (where we forward you to non-technical customer support staff which tells you simply that you’ll get your answer in the morning!).
Our primary benefits are that we are flexible and we reduce our customers’ risk in a software project (or a software/hardware project).
There are four things that we do which enable us to achieve what we claim:
a. We work in small and flexible teams: this enables us to react quickly to our clients’ requirements and change in requirements.
b. We focus on documentation and doing things in a methodical way: we are a very performance driven organization. While we aim to make sure that we deliver the best quality software for our customers, we also aim to make sure that our team grows professionally. For this purpose, we have developed processes to find out the weaknesses in our team so that we can work on improving them. Similarly we follow our deadlines “religiously”. In order to do this, we need to make sure that timelines are made as accurately as possible which in turn depends on the fact that requirements should be as clear as possible, and hence our elaborate but efficient documentation process!
c. Timelines are followed religiously: this is the corner stone of our development efforts. “Start” and “End” on predefined time and then work around them. This helps all stake holders in a project!
d. Aggressive about customer satisfaction: we believe that our success lies with our customers. Since our primary clients are enterpreneurs and other software firms who wish to get their ideas implemented or share their work-load, we can only succeed if we build successful partnerships with our core clientage. This can only happen if our clients are satisfied. To achieve this, we go at any length (work 15 hrs a day to finish before deadline, explain/ educate customers on technical concepts, evaluate our clients’ competitions etc). To our knowledge such dedication is rare in the industry. Usually (our clients tell us this) that people are handled by project managers whose only concern is getting the project done in whatever specs are provided. Or if dedicated resources are provided then letting the client handle the dedicated resources. We do this differently, whether you hire a dedicated resource or work with us on a project, we’ll ensure that we create value for you in your project.
e. Marketing consultation: This is one of our strongest areas. We consult with our customers regarding identifying market opportunities as well as defining various features in their projects. This means we just don’t do “dumb” development. We work along-side our customers to define scope of a projects, milestones, release plans so that their return on investment can be maximized.
